SnowSwings was founded by Andrew Seddon.

​

Designing and building his own furniture from an early age, and an avid collector of furniture. Andrew developed a passion for experimenting with steel, iron and copper in his designs.

​

Years later, while working in the Arctic Circle, he became fascinated by the character and simplicity of old mountain chairlifts. Over many years he began adapting elements of original antique mountain chairlift designs, refining their proportions and construction to create something entirely his own.

Today, SnowSwings are handmade exclusively in Britain by a team of skilled craftsmen, working closely with Andrew on each piece. We make distinctive pieces with a sense of character, robust enough for commercial use, elegant enough for the finest spaces and built to become part of their surroundings and be enjoyed for generations, not seasons.
